AF-C Continuous Autofocus
On the X2D II 100C, Hasselblad introduced AF-C continuous autofocus for the first time. Combined with a deep learning-based subject detection algorithm, it can accurately identify subjects such as people, cars, cats, and dogs in various poses and continuously track focus while capturing moving subjects.
Added focus mode
In addition to the original "Point" mode, the X2D II 100C adds several new focus modes, including "Expand Point," "Custom," and "Wide Area." Inspiration flows freely, and focus is effortlessly controlled.
The X2D II 100C is the first medium format camera to support end-to-end HDR functionality, capable of producing HDR HEIF or Ultra HDR JPEG photos directly from the camera and displaying them instantly on a touchscreen with a peak brightness of 1400 nits. It can also be edited directly on iPhone/iPad using Phocus Mobile 2.
HNCS HDR Highlighted Photos
The HNCS HDR color scheme used in the X2D II 100C is derived from HNCS, utilizing a high dynamic range to bring out Hasselblad's signature natural colors and tones with even greater brilliance. Even in direct sunlight, it effectively avoids overexposure, revealing more detail. HDR images taken with the X2D II 100C can be viewed directly on the built-in 1400-nit high-brightness touchscreen and will also display correctly on a compatible MacBook Pro. If you wish to shoot regular SDR photos, you can switch modes at any time in the camera settings.
100-megapixel CMOS
With its perfect balance of light and shadow, the X2D II 100C's 100-megapixel medium format back-illuminated CMOS sensor supports 16-bit color depth, recording approximately 281 trillion colors. It also boasts a native ISO sensitivity as low as 50 and a dynamic range of up to 15.3 stops, helping you capture details in light and shadow and produce more natural and pleasing images.
3.6-inch OLED dual-directional flip touchscreen
The camera's 3.6-inch OLED touchscreen boasts a peak brightness of 1400 nits and supports HDR image display. Furthermore, it can not only tilt upwards 90° or downwards approximately 43°, but also pull outwards, ensuring it's not obstructed by the EVF electronic viewfinder when tilted upwards.
5-axis 10-level image stabilization
The body structure has been specially optimized to support 5-axis 10-stop image stabilization. When shooting distant scenes, the image stabilization performance can be improved to 8 times that of the X2D 100C. Even with handheld exposures of several seconds, sharp and clear photos can still be obtained. Long exposures can be used to record bustling traffic and flowing water without a tripod.
1TB SSD built-in storage
The X2D II 100C features a built-in 1TB solid-state drive, providing ample storage for high-quality imaging without the need for a memory card. It boasts write speeds of up to 2370MB/s and read speeds of up to 2850MB/s. A CFexpress Type B card slot further expands your storage capacity.
Five-way joystick and custom buttons
The touchscreen features a five-way joystick on the right, supporting quick focus movement and menu selection. One customizable button has been added below the joystick and to the front dial, bringing the total to eight, enabling richer and more convenient control functions.
